We subscribe to the values and principles of the “5 R’s” (Relationship, Respect, Responsibility, Repair, and Reintegration), as well as voluntary participation, a victim-centered approach, healing, interconnectedness, and an appreciation for diversity and self-determination. We believe an RJ practitioner's first aim is to prevent, as effectively as possible, further harm from occurring to those voluntarily engaged in RJ practices. We will practice RJ values and principles in our work; this includes internally, with our stakeholders and with RJ programs.
